Our story
From a kitchen table in 2008.
The Skyward story began in 2008, when founder Jen Lambert started with the company and the Skyward “office” was the kitchen table in her home. One of Skyward’s most prominent accounts came from a cold call Jen made with her two young daughters in tow, and that client is still with us today.
Jen built Skyward while managing a portfolio of commercial real estate and advancing a corporate career from regional sales manager to national marketing manager at a Fortune 500 company. Operating commercial property taught her the pressure facility managers are under to keep a building running, and that perspective still shapes how Skyward scopes and delivers its work.
Through that work, Skyward grew from a $15,000 company in 2008 to the multi-million-dollar business it is today, built on the same priorities decision-makers weigh now: exceptional customer service, practical sustainability programs, a women-owned business and clients and employees who stay for the long term.
