Facility Cleaning Solutions: How Skyward Operates
Most facility teams do not switch cleaning vendors because the first one could not clean. They switch because the result changed from week to week. Skyward’s answer is an operating system rather than a promise: the work is defined for each building, assigned to named people, tracked every shift and verified by someone whose job is to verify it. The same system runs a single office and a multi-site portfolio.
This page explains how that system works, the services it covers and the specialty programs that sit alongside day-to-day cleaning. If you want a plan for a specific building, request a site assessment and we will walk it with you.
The operating model
- Routes and zones. Every facility is divided into defined zones based on space type, traffic, usage and operational risk. Crews work assigned routes with clear tasks and sequencing instead of relying on memory or individual judgement, so a lobby, a restroom and a production floor each get the method their risk level calls for.
- Quality verified daily. Completion checks, visual verification and supervisor walkthroughs create a daily quality-assurance rhythm, with monthly and quarterly reviews on top. Problems are identified, documented and resolved instead of waiting for the next complaint.
- Management that owns the outcome. You should not have to manage your cleaning vendor’s crew. Skyward assigns operational leadership and a clear escalation path, from the on-site supervisor through senior management, so every service issue has an owner.
- Systems that remove friction. Documented scopes, access notes, supply management and reporting are set up once at launch and maintained, so your team is not re-explaining the building every time a shift changes.

Specialty programs
Several Skyward clients use us for more than cleaning. These programs are scoped alongside the janitorial work so one team is accountable for the whole building.
- Pallet management. Collection, staging and removal of pallets from docks and production areas on a set schedule, keeping lanes clear and reducing the housekeeping burden on your own staff.
- Recycling implementation. Set-up and ongoing handling of cardboard, paper and commingled recycling streams: container placement, collection routes and the signage that keeps the streams clean.
- Sustainability programs. Product and process choices that support indoor air quality and waste-reduction goals, documented so you can report on them, without lowering the cleaning standard.
- Carpet and floor programs. Scheduled periodic care for carpet, tile, stone, concrete and resilient floors, planned by finish and traffic rather than on request. See commercial floor care.
